I LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS POST.

But it's a beautiful, honest, /right/ ending, even if it isn't a happy one.
Fucking yes. That's how I feel about so many things (and why I was so annoyed at the end of Lost). And ha, yeah, I also agree re: Death in the Family.
