I don't use this icon nearly enough

Hello internet!

I have been rereading Hellblazer from the start (because oh man early Hellblazer is my favouritest, the first comic I fell in love with and all that) and I just finshed Family Man which is the actual scariest if you are me, and now it is one AM and I cannot sleep.

Have been trying to convince the world to write me the one where cocky young punk Constantine has a run-in with DCI Gene Hunt (1981 is the year before Newcastle!) because I need this crossover like I need breathing.

The lack of Hellblazer fic in general is sort of criminal really. I can't be the only person who imprinted on this comic like woah as a tiny baby nerd?

More photoshoppery, less than last time but I'm sure there will be more soon at this rate )
THIS HAS BEEN A POST.

Portrait of the Artist as a Teenager, pt. 2

This is around when I started consistently drawing things that don't make me cringe now.
DC fanart (incl. Tiny Titans and Nolanverse) + Jabberwocky illustrations, circa 2008 )

Portrait of the Artist as a Teenager

So in light of this stupid fuckery, I'm deleting my DeviantArt account, which I've had for-fucking-ever. All the stuff from high school is only there, though, and I want to preserve it so's I can remind myself of exactly how much I have, actually, improved.

2005-2007: Mostly goth-y Tim Burton stuff and then terribly-drawn garishly-coloured superheroes )
There are as many things from 2008 as the three previous years combined (and I mostly don't hate them!) so I'm gonna make them a separate post.

Too Late To Be Gracious: A Terribly Unsubtle Boone/Shannon Mix

I'm feeling really nostalgic for season one of Lost! But not enough to like, watch it, or anything. But I have been talking to [livejournal.com profile] soda_and_capes about Locke/Boone and Boone/Shannon, and it reminded me of this. Which is a fanmix I made when I was about fourteen and never shared with anyone ever because I was embarrassed of it!

You will notice that this is entirely from the male POV! I was struggling with some wacky internalised sexism issues at the time, where I hated everything feminine. I still had women and female characters that I loved, but anything girly disgusted me for a few years there.
