For once my default icon is relevant, not just me being too lazy to pick a better one

While I was avoiding working on all these midterm papers (so much work) (why is February) I started wondering what various Monster High characters would look like species-swapped (is that even a thing, it's a thing now) and then... this happened.

Quick pen drawings. Tried to pick combinations with as dramatic palette-swaps as possible.

Werecat Abbey, with Toralei's red/black/orange colour scheme.

Plant Monster Clawd, with Venus' pink/green colour scheme.

Werecat Clawdeen, with Meowlody (the white-haired twin)'s colour scheme, although I kept her original skin/fur colour.

Phantom Cleo, with Operetta's purple/red/white colour scheme.

Working through characters alphabetically, idk when I'll do the rest though.

Messing with those basic designs is fun, isn't it? Monster High seems to me like something I might want if it was just a little different - a little less PG, I guess, or little less platform shoe/popular girl. I really loved Living Dead Dolls, though I never owned one (too much trouble to explain it to people I lived with), and to have them as curvy fashion dolls would be great.

Also, I didn't know you could draw!
