So I just spent all my Christmas money on movies and music.
* John & Yoko, Double Fantasy Stripped Down (2-CD set, the original album and the remasters). Listening to it now! IT IS KIND OF FUCKING AMAZING.
* Oingo Boino, Only A Lad (because I feel bad about how much of their stuff I have downloaded, I promised myself I would buy an actual CD if I ever found one
* The Clash + Give ‘Em Enough Rope 2-CD set. Pretty sure I have at least The Clash on vinyl, but given that I don’t have a turntable, that’s not so useful
* The Trotsky. This year’s best movie that wasn’t Trigger!
* Velvet Goldmine. Which has been on my computer basically since I got my computer. Now I have a proper, legal copy!
* Hard Core Logo. Been looking for a DVD for absolute ages! There is commentary!
* Ferris Bueller’s Day Off. Because it is ridiculous and I love it.
* Sid And Nancy. Because at this point, “rock stars in tragic love” is kind of a theme.
