So remember the other day I had ~feelings~ about Tim Burton, and a whole big chunk of the post was about his beautiful epic career-spanning collaboration with Danny Elfman?

WELL UH. This exists. (Well, will exist.)

One-in-a-thousand limited-edition music box with unseen Burton art, sixteen-CD-set with 7 hours of unreleased music, plus a 250 page coffee table book, a fancy skeleton-shaped flash drive, and a DVD of them talking about their collaboration.

THERE IS NO WAY THERE ARE A THOUSAND PEOPLE IN THE WORLD WHO DESERVE THIS MORE THAN ME, YOU GUYS. BRB finding five hundred dollars somehow.

The fact that this is even a thing that exists in the world makes me possibly happier than the film itself ever could. Let me just say, if this movie had existed when I was a kid I would be a very different person today.

Today lufwood_emilius joined me for Batman, because she is an excellent person like that! Her Thoughts were mostly inside jokes about the Great Mouse Detective, though, so they don't particularly feature prominently in my analysis.
