Chocolate Walnut Meringue

Contain peanuts and corn. Vegan, very easy to make gluten-free.

Blueberry Pie Bars

well I started making cookies it’s officially winter now
contains dairy (unless you use vegan/pareve caramels) and peanuts, not sure about gluten since the base is cereal. I guess that would depend on the cereal you use?

Dec. 13th, 2009 05:59 pmLast night for Chanukkah I got this mixer in red. It is GORGEOUS. I did not expect to see this except as like, a wedding gift. So, cookie making has begun in earnest! (And in Ernest, which is the name of my oven. Just so I can make that pun. Shut up.)
First: Lemon-poppyseed cookies, from my dad's family recipe. There's something to be said for making Star of David-shaped Christmas cookies from an old Jewish cookbook. We had an Ulster Fry for Chanukkah dinner last night, too. Ah, mixed families.

Aaaand Crunchy Little Guys, aka Crunchy Little Fuckers, aka Almond Crisp Bars:
