well I started making cookies it’s officially winter now
contains dairy (unless you use vegan/pareve caramels) and peanuts, not sure about gluten since the base is cereal. I guess that would depend on the cereal you use?
* approx. 12 soft caramels
* 1/2 cup chocolate chips
* 2 tpsbs water
* 2 cups honeycomb-type-cereal, lightly crushed
* 3/4 cup peanuts
In saucepan/double boiler, combine caramels, chocolate, and water; stir until melted. Remove from heat and stir in cereal and nuts.
Quickly drop mixture by teaspoonfuls onto waxed-paper/parchment-paper/silicone lined cookie sheet. Let stand until firm. Makes about 15 cookies. They’re terrible for your teeth but I don’t even care.
