F/F or gen preferred except where noted. Crossovers totally encouraged. No non-canon character death, no rape/noncon, nothing sexual with characters under 16 or explicit with characters under 18.
This is uh, kind of long. Feel free to ignore specific prompts and do whatever speaks to you instead, here are just some ideas!
Chrestomanci (Janet, Millie)
Note that Millie is a) from a very South Asian influenced culture and b) repeatedly described as plain. No gorgeous thin white Millie please. Other than that, whatever you want to create is welcome!
One or both of them musing on the differences between their new world and their homeworld could be neat. Art of Janet in clothing that's a compromise between the aesthetics of the two worlds? Janet dealing with being the only non-magical person in the household? Millie reading/discussing books she's read from different worlds? The differences between being revered as a goddess but having no actual power over her life and being thought of as a powerful man's wife while being an enchanter in her own right? (Gen, Janet/girl of your choice, & Millie/Christopher welcome here)
DCU
Pre-new 52 please. I have a lot to say here because I've spent a lot of concentrated brain energy on these girls, this has been my primary fandom on and off for ten years. Like I said above, feel free to disregard the specific prompts if you have an idea of your own!
Babs:
No Batgirl please. Babs/Dinah is The OTP but I'm also a big fan of her two bitter ex girlfriends (Power Girl and Spy Smasher) and Renee Montoya's giant crush. Babs mentoring younger heroes (the other nominees or anyone else); anything where her library science background is useful to Oracle; just anything where she's five pages ahead of whoever thinks they're fighting her. No angst about the chair/not being Batgirl.
Cass:
Batgirl and Black Bat both welcome. Maybe someone finally helps her with her reading? An action shot of Cass taking down someone a foot taller than her? Training/sparring with any of the other nominees? Cass mentoring Sin Lance? Battle For The Cowl AU where Cass is Batman, since she's the only one who actually wanted it? Cass/Rose is one of my favourite ships but I'm also in favour of Cass/Steph or Cass/Brenda from the tea house in Bludhaven.
Cassie:
Cassie being a competent leader (of the Titans or of Young Justice). Visually, my favourite looks for her are Nicola Scott's blue jeans/boots version and her later-Young-Justice pigtails/goggles/red jeans costume. I prefer Cassie as the kid who demanded powers from the gods to Cassie as literal demigoddess but if you want to write something synthesising her two backstories that'd be really neat. I ship Cassie/Rose and Cassie/Cissie.
Cissie:
I would love any Cissie future-fic. Titans of Tomorrow Cissie who sees her old friends become scary overlords and leads the resistance? Grown-up Cissie whose young daughter wants nothing more than to be a superhero? Cissie who uses her fame as an athlete to bring attention to problems that fighting wouldn't solve? Or, y'know, cute Cassie/Cissie or Cissie/Anita stuff. Or post-YJ Cissie/Greta when nobody else in their new lives understands what they've given up. Less interested in Arrowette Cissie except maybe in the context of the abovementioned shippy fluff.
Rose:
15-year-old angry baby Rose before Geoff Johns got his hands on her is one of my all-time favourite characters. Art or fic about that Rose (maybe set while she was Lian's nanny?) would make me super happy. Ravager Rose and her angry crush on Cassie is also a delight; Rose/Cassie stuff that focuses on Rose's perception of Cassie as a Good Superhero Girl (whether she's correct or not) is great. The AU where Dick passes the Nightwing mantle on to Rose after Bruce dies is my favourite thing to contemplate. Rose/Cass sparring that leads to sex; also Rose/Cass stuff where Rose expects Cass to be judging her for having been under her father's control and Cass is welcoming and understanding and it catches Rose off-guard. I'd also kind of like Rose and Wendy Harris to reconnect now that they have a lot more in common.
Steph:
Robin Steph is my favourite, especially visually, but I do also love Steph as Spoiler and Batgirl; a Batgirl Steph story/picture that brought some of the roughness back to her character would be really cool. Cass/Steph is a good ship, again especially with Robin Steph. Steph readjusting to Gotham life after being temporarily dead? I'd love to see Steph interact with Jason (gen or shippy) especially WHILE one of them is dead (like how Tim used to talk to ghost Jason). Steph and Rose interacting would also be really cool; with Rose making assumptions that she could never have anything in common with this girl and then Steph surprising/impressing her (again, gen or shippy) could also be neat.
Homeward Bounders (Helen)
Helen is such a visually interesting character who I'm very sad there isn't a lot of art of. Anything you want to create will be welcome! I guess just, Helen playing with some kind of 'gross' animal/s (no centipedes, millipedes, or earwigs) and/or doing something cool with her arm.
Jem (Kimber, Stormer)
New comics or Jem classic versions both welcome! I love this ship and I'm super excited that they're a canon lesbian couple in the comics. Also into Kimber feeling underappreciated within the band, Stormer trying to bring herself to stand up to her friends, either or both of them dealing with the press/fans. New comics also show us that both of them are involved in social media; epistolary fic playing with that would be really cool.
Monster High (Cleo, Ghoulia, Clawdeen, Howleen, Frankie, Robecca)
I collect the dolls but I'm not very familiar with the cartoons and books, so nothing that relies too heavily on those please. Gen or f/f both welcome; ships I'm particularly in favour of are Cleo/Ghoulia, Cleo/Clawdeen, Frankie/Ghoulia, and Frankie/Robecca. Ghoulia and Howleen have my favourite canon designs and Frankie is my personal favourite character/doll. Recreations of classic monster movie posters with our girls in them could be neat? Whatever speaks to you!
Vorkosigan (Cordelia, Elli, Taura)
I've been reading the series in this order http://www.goodreads.com/story/show/293438-the-vorkosigan-saga-reading-order-debate-the-chef-recommends and I've just finished Komarr, no spoilers past that point please. Young(er) Betan Cordelia or Countess Cordelia both appreciated; I have no idea if later books explore what Elli's leadership is like but if you can explore that without spoiling that would be super cool; Taura's interesting relationship with traditional femininity is super fascinating to me anything you want to write/draw/create around that is welcome. This is one fandom where I'd be totally pleased if you just wanted to write/draw the canon het pairings because they're all great.
Young Wizards (Dairine, Carmela)
I love both of these girls so much, anything you want to create is welcome. Exploring Carmela's linguistics superpower would be cool, as would art of her space raygun hairdryer, or anything about the non-wizard adventures she's having in the background of the earlier books. High Wizardry is my favourite book in the series, so if you want to illustrate something from that or explore Dari's relationship with the mobiles/their planet would be neat, as would some of the stuff Dari works on as a solo wizard while Kit and Nita are the primary focus in canon. Romantic (but not sexual) Dairine/Roshaun is welcome. Carmela is just a lot of fun and it's been great to watch her become more important when she started out as a background character; Dairine struggling when she reaches a certain age and stops being the smartest and most powerful person in any given room really speaks to me as a former Gifted Program kid and definitely contributed to how much I identify with her, if you want to go in that direction.

Anything you want to create for these would be welcome! Some prompts, if you want them:
Fey/Human: Tam Lin type narratives (human girl rescuing her elf-knight lover from hell) and Thomas the Rhymer type narratives (human poet gets abducted/enchanted by the faerie queen, returns years later with prophetic powers) and combinations of the two are My Jam. Faeries who have distinctly nonhuman morality and emotion. Maybe faeries who don't LOOK entirely humanoid either! Forest, rose, white deer, white hound motifs and Tudor or Medieval aesthetics fit into this well but modern/urban retellings of these ideas are equally welcome. Or any other time period that intrigues you really! Jazz age faeries?
Mad Scientist/Monster: My favourite mad scientist films are Bride of Frankenstein and Bride of the Monster if you want to look to either of those for visual inspiration. Frankenstein-style human-like reanimated monsters or sentient giant creatures are both welcome (especially giant octopi, I love me a giant octopus). Into "strapped to an operating table while a mad scientist mutates you beyond recognition" type scenarios-- it would be interesting to see that kind of experimentation done on a consensual volunteer. Or maybe Scientist and First Monster raising monster children together?
Princess/Sheildmaiden: I'd like to see these two character archetypes as they age together, as the sheildmaiden grows into a hardened warrior and the princess eventually becomes queen. Starting out full of youthful idealism and growing into themselves.
Scientist/Time Traveler: Honestly if you just want to give me a f/f Back to the Future reboot I'm 100% here for that. Or take it in a futuristic or steampunk direction if you want. A time traveler who knows something about the scientist's future but doesn't want to tell her and break spacetime? A scientist who made a time machine and sends her research assistant forward in time to test it?
