Fuck you, Canada, just fuck you.

40% of this country just voted for a man whose government was the first in the HISTORY OF THE COMMONWEALTH to be found in contempt of parliament.

Which, because of our broken electoral system, counts as a majority government.

I cannot live for four years under a Harper majority, NDP Opposition or no. Like, yes! I am very happy at the NDP turnout because goddamn, they tripled their seats. Ten years ago they had only nine seats and now they have more than a hundred. Of course that's a big fucking deal.

But.

Conservative Majority, so none of it really matters.

Fuck everything.

So my dad accidentally and unthinkingly left the back door locked when he went to work this morning. Which means I can't get upstairs.

Things I do not currently have access to on account of the back door being locked:

* food
* subway fare
* my phone
* my wallet
* my toothbrush
* my coat

Things that I do have access to on account of they are already downstairs:

* bathroom
* bed
* clean clothes
* my computer
* my bookshelves
* my longboxes
* my DVDs

I may be hungry and unable to go to class but at least I won't be bored.
