Hello, Internets! It is Pride weekend in Toronto, but it is also approximately a million degrees Celsius outside and I did the Dyke March thing yesterday, so fuck going outside. So instead I drew some things! (Actually, lately I've drawn a LOT of things, but these are the ones that I don't hate.)

I've been working on the Cass design approximately forever. I had the mask sketched out in April, but it took 'til last week for the rest of the outfit to really come together. Once I figured out the vest the rest was easy, my trouble had been with getting her design elements (all black, yellow outline Batsymbol) to work within the style I've set up with the other Steam DCU stuff. Yellow piping and bat-wing edges seems to have worked. Even then, the boots and the shirt got changed drastically from the sketch. (I don't draw enough Cass, Cass is awesome. Note to self: Draw more Cass.)
Steph, on the other hand, was really easy to work out. The design all sort of came to me in a day. Hers was the first to really come together of the original Steam Robins, maybe it's just something about here character, I don't know? There are obviously elements of her Robin costumes here (the hair, and the plague mask reminds me of the scarf in World Without Young Justice) but I was mostly trying to translate her Batgirl costume.

Aaaaaand another Steph. I definitely draw her more than any other character.
This is from the "World Without Young Justice" storyline. If you haven't read it, basically, a villain time travels and makes it so the core Young Justice team never formed. So in a world where Tim never became Robin, Steph picks up the slack. Awesomely.
I've always loved this design, it's way better than any of her actual Robin costumes. The Cluemaster-style scarf-mask is a nice touch. (I wasn't fond of the gloves or boots in the original, though, so I shortened them both. Artistic license, or whatever.)
