Today's question was supposed to be "favourite romance" and I still have no idea how I plan on answering that.
HOWEVER, I have just had an Idea that needs to get spilled out here in hope that someone who can write takes a shine to it.
So I've watched through Life on Mars and just started Ashes to Ashes, at
cws_eat_chs's continued insistance. Also I've been thinking about Robins a lot (to be fair, I do that pretty much always). And uh. It just hit me how much I actually need the story where when Steph is presumed-dead post-War Games she wakes up in 1986 or so and hangs out with Jason. And Batman is all disapproving of her before she was born in her own dream, how is that even fair? But Jason is a lot more fun than Tim, even if she hates herself for thinking it. Especially given how many times she's had to stop Robin from using lethal force, which is not something she will ever get used to.
And in the dreamworld Oracle is Batgirl, and okay, that will never not be weird. But it's one of the things she tries not to think about too much. (Along with that Robin costume in the glass box back home, which she never really looked at closely when she was there but she's pretty sure it's Jason's. But the boy whose costume that was can't have died more than five years ago, and this is definitely the mid-eighties... Like I said, she tries not to think about it.)
PLEASE, INTERNET, MAKE THIS A THING THAT EXISTS. I WILL GIVE YOU MY LEFT ARM. Or, well, someone's arm, anyhow.
